Journeyman Barber
Born and raised in Shaunavon, Kendra made the move to Moose Jaw in 2014 to join the hair industry. Starting with three years of salon work, she studied barbering in Alberta, returning to Moose Jaw in 2020. Her favourite cut is the mullet or high and tight, and her favourite service is hot shaves.
Ashley
JOURNEYMAN BARBER
Born and raised in Regina, Ashley made the big move to Moose Jaw when she met Jordan in 2020. Ashley has spent the past several years advancing and expanding her barbering skills and we are happy to have her join the team at Bootleg Barbers and Tattoos.
Ashley’s favourite cut is the Modern Day Mullet or High & Tight. Her favorite style is the Pompadour!!

Her favs are, fades, line ups, Hot shaves, straight blade head shaves.
She loves meeting new people and taking on new challenges with hair.
Ashley Hughes

A life-long Moose Jaw girl, Ashley H joined Bootleg Barbers in September of 2023. After working for a year she decided to take the leap and try out a new space so she could elevate her skills. She is now back to her roots and working with us once again. She specializes in more modern techniques with her favourite cuts being the Blowout Taper, French/Textured Crop, and Skin Fades. She especially enjoys doing Hot Shaves and Beards. She’s excited to continue her journey with us and build her clientele.

6th year tattooer specializing in a bold American traditional style with a strange and surreal spin. All styles welcome.

Born and raised in Moose Jaw, SK, Raylyn Schmidt has been in the hair industry for 2.5 years. After building a strong foundation behind the chair, she made the switch to barbering to focus on precision cuts and modern techniques. From clean fades to sharp tapers, she’s passionate about creating styles that leave her clients looking and feeling their best. She’s excited to continue growing in the barbering world and building lasting relationships with her clientele.

Rylan, a former cook made a career change this year to pursue barbering. Inspired by a lifelong passion for the craft. He enrolled in hair school in the fall of 2024, in the short time he has been cutting hair he has worked on his skills. His favourite haircuts are tapers, skin fades, braids, and both modern mullets and French crops.
